Housemarque joins forces with Defender & Robotron dev

New game on its way as collaboration with Eugene Jarvis is announced.

Housemarque has announced its working on a new game, in collaboration with the creator of Defender and Robotron.

The collaboration comes through a discussion between Housemarque's Harry Krueger (Resogun lead) and Eugene Jarvis (responsible for Defender, Robotron and more), who discovered they had the same love for old-school gaming.

Jarvis was impressed with what the Finnish developer did with Resogun, and he wanted to know if they could work together.

"When I saw RESOGUN I couldn't believe how these Housemarque guys took Defender to a new level. I wondered... what would happen if we teamed up? Mash up old school arcade with mad voxel tech and crazed nouveau Helsinki gamers... All I know now is that it is going to be explosive."

Expect to hear more in the coming months.
