Horror title Allison Road cancelled

Lilith, the developer of the P.T.-inspired psychological horror, Allison Road, has just announced on Twitter that the game has been cancelled.

"Hi all. Sadly Allison Road had to be cancelled. Statement to come in the next few days. Thx for all your support and very sad it came 2 this," the studio's office account stated earlier today.

The game was originally launched on Kickstarter following the popularity of the also-cancelled P.T. demo (directed by Hideo Kojima back when he was still with Konami). However, during its campaign the game received publisher backing and was withdrawn from the crowdfunding site.

The reason behind the cancellation remains unclear, but we'll update you with more news as soon as we hear more from Lilith in the coming days.
