Horizon: Zero Dawn producer Patrick Munnik has died

Our friends over at Guerrilla Games received some very sad news yesterday, as one of their friends and colleagues passed away all too soon.

This week has been filled with excitement and incredible news, but now it's time to share a very sad announcement, as Guerrilla Games, the studio behind games such as Killzone and Horizon: Zero Dawn, has shared the following message on Twitter:

"It is with great shock and sadness we inform you that our lead producer Patrick Munnik is no longer with us. We are eternally grateful to have had our greatly valued and much loved Patrick on our team."

Munnik was only 44 years old. Our deepest condolences to his wife, two kids, family and friends. Rest in peace, Patrick.

REVIEW. Written by Magnus Groth-Andersen

"This is a game that not only honours the promise of its trailers and delivers on our lofty expectations, but actually surpasses them."
