The EVO tournament is one of the biggest events of the year for fighting game fans. It is where the best in a bunch of fighting games go to test their might against the competition.

Usually, EVO takes place around summer, but that doesn't mean the hype train can't already leave the station. The fighting games that will be on the main stage at EVO2023 have been revealed, as shown in the Twitter post below.

There are the expected games that have been a part of the tournament for years like Mortal Kombat 11, Tekken 7, and Dragon Ball FighterZ. There is also one major surprise in the form of Street Fighter 6, which isn't even out yet, but should be released by the time EVO rolls around.

For those wondering where Super Smash Bros. is, unfortunately it hasn't been a part of the EVO tournament since last year, when Nintendo decided it would make its own tournament.

What do you think of the EVO roster? Should there be any more games on this list?
