Hello Games, developers of the Joe Danger titles and the recently announced No Man's Sky, had their Guildford offices flooded over Christmas. The official studio Twitter announced the sad news Christmas day.

"Oh god. Water moves really quick. Hello Games has been totally flooded. Everything in the office has pretty much been lost :("

Turns out their insurance had a flood risk area caveat, but the team remains upbeat and while equipment has been lost.

"On a brighter note, no insurance means we can just wade in and start setting things straight! Hello Games assemble!"

While there are certainly people who were hit harder by the weather, we hope that Hello Games have a better 2014 than their unfortunate ending to 2013.
