Hellblade developer Ninja Theory held an AMA (ask me anything) interview yesterday with Melina Juergens, video editor with Ninja Theory and, more interestingly, also the actor who plays Senua in the game, during the talk answering some frequently asked questions while live on Facebook. What set the interview apart was the fact that Dominic Matthews, product development manager at the studio, spoke with Juergens while she was wearing a motion suit and therefore bringing the CGI version of Senua to life.
Most of the questions were related to Juergens' role as Senua and the process of being transferred into a digital avatar, so it was more of a developer diary kind of video. Nevertheless, both developers had a bit of fun with the format by the looks of it, and the CG rendering process was done in real time, so it was an interview with a real life video game character. They did talk about a possible sequel once, although that does seem like it's part of their thinking at the moment. Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice will launch on August 8 for PC and PlayStation 4.
