Earlier this month, Blizzard revealed Hearthstone Battlegrounds at BlizzCon, an autobattler that uses Heroes as a twist on the Hearthstone formula, with a beta starting a few weeks ago to let fans get a taste of the mode.
A new update has landed in Battlegrounds just recently though, as detailed on the game's site, with Sindragosa, Elise Starseeker, Brann Bronzebeard, and Sir Finley Mrrgglton coming in as brand new Heroes, each with a new hero power.

Four Heroes have left as a result, these being King Mukla, Giantfin, Millificent Manastorm, and Lich Baz-hial, and several balance updates and bug fixes are being deployed too, the details of which you can find at the link above.
Ranking has also been changed as well. Originally, you got 240 points for a first-place finish on the first game, and 24 points on your 150th (or later) game, but this has been adjusted so you get 190 points on a first-place finish on your first game, with your 150th (or later) first-place finish giving 95 points.
Looking further ahead, Blizzard has a new Battlegrounds update planned for early next month, including continuing to balance minions and Heroes; continuing rotating Heroes in and out; two new minions planned; new cards; and Stats, giving players a deeper insight into their performances.
