The Watchmen graphic novel was brought to life on the big screen with a film adaptation back in 2009, but this October HBO will be airing a Watchmen series that provides a brand new look on the franchise. This isn't news in itself, but the new trailer we received this past weekend gives a fresh look at what's inbound.
The series is set in an alternate history, with masked vigilantes posing a problem to society, and Damon Lindelof is working on the show that stars Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Regina King, and more.
"People with masks are dangerous, and we should be scared of them," or so we're told in the trailer, where you can also see more of the Rorschach masks we've previously seen in promotional materials.
