Paradox Interactive and Fat Shark's medieval combat game, War of the Roses, has just been updated. The Guns of Burgundy brings the first portable firearm - handgonnes - to the party, as well as a new map and new armour pieces.

The new map, Ravenspurn, is for Conquest, Team Deathmatch, and Pitched Battle modes, and the new armour and weapons are complimented by UI improvements (such as a pop-up alert system to tell players about in-game events).

It's also worth noting that War of the Roses is currently half-price on Steam.
