Halo TV series starts pre-production

If you're a fan of the Halo franchise then this news might be of interest, as Halo Waypoint and the Xbox website have revealed that Showtime is working with Amblin Television to bring a Halo TV series to life.

Steven Spielberg will also be working on the project alongside experienced showrunner Kyle Killen (Lone Star) and director Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes), and 343 Industries say their biggest challenge is "finding the right balance between moments fans have already experienced and moments that have yet to be experienced through a different medium, perspective, or creative lens. We are excited to navigate these creative waters to bring you something that is both respectful of what you already know and love, but also new and surprising and enthralling."
