Just last week the Inside Xbox livestream confirmed the news that the Halo Master Chief Collection would finally be heading to PC, and now we know courtesy of the Halo Waypoint site that the Halo Insider Program will also include the PC version, since users will be "given exclusive opportunities to participate in public flights of in-progress Halo game releases and provide feedback to the development teams."
"Halo Insiders who choose to opt in to console or PC flighting will be considered for early access play sessions with in-development Halo games," a later section reads.
What's more is the FAQ also gives a handful of other details as well, including the fact that those selected for PC flights will often get surveys at the end to "capture important input that aligns with the specific goals for the flight." The team will also be selecting participants for these flights based on a wide number of PC configurations, meaning a DXDIAG upload is required.
We also find out that Steam is a big priority, and that you'll need to submit your SteamID too, since that's the only way to get a game build.
"We're excited to bring the Halo saga to Steam for the first time and since it's a relatively new platform for us, this is where our MCC flighting efforts will be focused," as the post explains.
Would you like to try the game early on PC?
