As we previously reported, those who bought Final Fantasy XV for Steam when it was released earlier this year got a Half-Life pack for the game as part of the deal. It included the classic orange outfit that Gordon Freeman usually wears (and a crowbar, naturally). The idea was to offer this as a temporary bonus, but now Square Enix has reconsidered that position.
Now the iconic outfit will be a permanent offering for Final Fantasy XV players on Steam, with the publisher writing the following message on Twitter: "The #FFXV Windows Edition Half Life pack was supposed to be removed from Steam today but due to popular demand we've decided to make it available indefinitely, for everyone, for free!"
That should be good news for everyone, right?
