Arc System Works might have their hands busy with Dragon Ball FighterZ right now, but Guilty Gear is one of their most popular franchises. The first Guilty Gear was released all the way back in 1998, and while it might be a bit later for a 20th anniversary celeberation, that doesn't mean we're not getting one.
We knew that the Switch port for Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus would be delayed, but with the Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Edition we'll be getting this and Guilty Gear both physically and digitally.
While we knew that the original game would be getting released on PC and PS4, we haven't got confirmation of the 20th Anniversary Edition coming to those platforms. PQube Games has also added on Twitter that "Both games are coming to Switch physically and digitally. Guilty Gear 1 is coming to PS4 digitally, and Accent Core isn't planned at all on PS4."
We don't have a release window other than spring this year, but at least we have a trailer that you can watch down below.
