The David Beckham-backed, London-based esports organisation, Guild Esports, has announced that it will be creating its own men's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team. The roster will be competing in various tournaments around the world, and will be serving as the male equivalent of Guild's all-female squad that was announced earlier this year.

"Our entry into the men's competitions, underscored by the impending launch of Counter-Strike 2, aligns perfectly with our vision to consistently elevate our brand's presence on a global scale," said Jasmine Skee, Guild Esports CEO. "Following the outstanding reception to our all-female Counter-Strike team earlier this year, we're eager to further tap into this burgeoning market, seizing the myriad of sponsorship and revenue opportunities it presents."

As of now, Guild has yet to announce the actual players and staff who will make up this team, but we are promised to hear more about just this in the near future.
