Back in mid-August the developer Mediatonic decided to hold an event where they invited companies all over the world to pledge a donation to charity Special Effect. The brand that offers up the most money gets a prize, and what Mediatonic offered is quite tempting: they will design an in-game skin for the winner in their recently released title Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, one of the most popular games in 2020.

The bidding finished a couple of hours ago, and here's the winner - or we should say "winners". Last time we checked, the leading brand was G2 Esports, which donated $130,003. However, two hours before the bid ended, family gaming channel FGTeev topped that with $510K. You'd think that would do the trick, right?

Wrong. At the last minute literally, the famous streamer Ninja and MrBeast, along with G2 Esports and Aim Lab, donated a whopping 1 million combined.

It is just incredible, and Mediatonic also confirmed:

"We'll now sort out the donations while our artists start to collab with the winners on their skins!

YES! We will include 4 costumes as a special thank you to the amazing people that made this possible".

That being the case, the four will get one costume each. But the good deed doesn't end here, Ninja also announced on Twitter that they are going to do a charity stream together to raise even more money. However, the date and details are still to be confirmed.
