Grid, the next game from the masters of four-wheeled racing, has just been hit with a minor delay that'll see the game landing on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 11 (or three days before that if you splash out on the Ultimate Edition). Apparently, the racer needs a little more time in the garage, as the studio confirmed this week.

According to the studio, "the change has been made to give added exposure to a game we're hugely excited about. Thank you to our community for sharing in that excitement since we revealed GRID in May, as we add a brand new chapter to this storied racing franchise."

We're also promised more news in the next couple of days, so if you're a fan of the Grid series and you're looking forward to its return later this year, stay tuned for that.
