To paraphrase one of the great poets of our time, all Grand Theft Auto V does is win, win, win no matter what. Rockstar-owner Take-Two published their annual financial results yesterday, and during the associated investor call, CEO Strauss Zelnick revealed that the game has now shipped 65 million copies globally.
For those keeping track at home, that's an increase of 13 million copies since their last annual report. It also means the publisher has shipped another cool 5 million copies since February, which was the last time they reported on sales numbers for the game.
No word on platform distribution, but given that the PC version of the game launched in this fiscal year, we'll assume it provided for a hefty chunk of the sales.
