Gran Turismo Sport has been fairly well received since it launch, but many players around the world also feel that the lack of a traditional campaign and relatively few cars to choose from somewhat lessens the experience. The developers at Polyphony Digital aims to fix these concerns in the near future.
It all starts nice and easy on November 27, when we get an update that will let us use or play the Livery Editor, Scapes and Campaign modes while being offline. We wouldn't go completely crazy just yet though, as we still won't be able to save our progress without going online. Still, it's a start, and we're also getting three new cars: ISO Rivolta Zagato VGT, Audi R18 and Shelby Cobra 427. There will also be various tweaks and adjustments to balance the gameplay, but no specifics are shared at this time.
The real treats arrive in December. That update will include a single-player mode called GT League. This is clearly inspired by the classic "GT mode", as it'll let us race through a series of offline cup competitions separated by different kinds of skill level. Endurance races are also back, so prepare yourself for quite a few laps around the different tracks. Polyphony Digital weren't lying when they said that they were planning to give us more cars after launch either, as the December update will include the following twelve cars:
We're also told to expect approximately 50 new cars from now to March, so the car selection will keep getting better.
Are these the kinds of improvements you were hoping for, or did you want more?
