Greyson "Goldenglue" Gilmer has announced on Twitter that he has left Golden Guardians and plans to turn his attention to coaching within League of Legends.

The mid laner joined Golden Guardians in November 2019 and competed with them in competitions, such as the LCS 2020 Spring Season. Prior to this Goldenglue had the opportunity to play for many top teams including Immortals, Cloud 9, and Team Liquid. His time with many of these was short, however, with his longest ever stay being with Cloud 9 Academy for just over one year.

Commenting on his new venture, Goldenglue said: "After talking to many friends and mentors within the industry, I've decided that coaching makes a lot of sense for me, considering my personality type and player experience. The fact that I have over 7 years of experience competing on countless teams, it makes it very easy for me to relate and talk to players. It's impossible to understand the feelings and struggles that you go through as a pro player unless you have felt them yourself".

We wish Goldenglue the best in the next stage of his career.
