God Eater producer to work on brand new 'Tales of' game

Famitsu is really peppering us with news today, this time the news concern the God Eater producer Yusuke Tomizawa, and the Tales of series.

In an interview with Yoshito Higuchi in Famitsu (via Gematsu) it was revealed that Yusuke Tomizawa will work as a producer on the Tales of series, including on the brand new entry to the RPG franchise that was announced at the Tales of Festival 2018 in June. The game has no title or release date, but we know that it's not a spin-off or a sequel, and that it will be developed and published by Bandai Namco:

"Development is being handled by Bandai Namco Studio, with reliable staff members who built up the series."

It was also revealed that they will restructure the series, and release som remasters of previous games.

"It's not something I can talk about. But it is something I have been involved in behind the scenes since the beginning," Tomizawa says about the new development structure, according to Gematsu.

The next release in the Tales of series is the remastered Tales of Vesperia, which is hitting PC, PS4, and Xbox One in January.
