Gillette is a brand that already has a big presence in both traditional sports and esports, sponsoring events like last year's Intel Extreme Masters World Championship for League of Legends in Katowice, and now esports organiser ESL has revealed that Gillette is now the official partner of the German ESL Meisterschaft championship, which features games like League of Legends and CS:GO.
Bernhard Mogk, SVP of Global Sales & Business Development at ESL, had this to say (via translation): "[It's] the ideal symbiosis: The Gillette brand does not only fits perfectly with the ESL's impressive sporting tradition, but also with its innovative product world! We are pleased to be able to create value for the eSports and [its] community in Germany with such a great partner."
