Frontier Developments has revealed that a Ghostbusters content pack is coming soon to Planet Coaster on PC, featuring a story-driven scenario, new gameplay mechanics, fresh rides, characters, and scenery inspired by the classic 1984 film.

As if all that wasn't enough for fans of the films, Dan Aykroyd is also returning to voice Raymond Stantz again, mentoring players as they build their park and take care of some ghostly annoyances. William Atherton will also be appearing too, voicing the villain Walter Peck.

Slimer and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man are reappearing as well, not to mention the iconic ECTO-1 car. The interactive dark ride also lets you step into The Ghostbusters Experience as well, busting ghosts with particle throwers to get a high score. Then we have the kiddie coaster called the RollerGhoster (themed around Slimer), the classic theme song from Ray Parker Jr., and the Ghostbusters HQ.

Earlier this month we reported on a rating being discovered for an alleged remaster of the 2009 game as well, and with a new film coming our way, it's a good time to be a bustin' fan.

Will you be heading into this DLC?
