Gfinity confirms CS:GO will not return to Elite Series Season 3

FIFA is in, but the shooter is out.

We already knew that for Season 3 of the Elite Series Gfinity would be adding FIFA to the lineup of games, but now the organisation has confirmed to Esports News UK that this has come at the expense of another game, as CS:GO will not be returning this time around.

It's not all bad news for CS:GO fans though, as Gfinity is instead running a CS:GO Winter Series as a replacement, more details on which can be found here. In regards to the Elite Series, though, there are two new faces this time around - Fnatic and Team Vitality - so it should still be a very good tournament.

Will you miss CS:GO?
