The Chinese Room (Dear Esther) managed to scare the entire gaming community when they announced Still Wakes the Deep during the Xbox Games Showcase in June.

In this psychological horror adventure we get to play as Caz McLeary, a survivor of a drilling platform hit by a disaster, and as if that wasn't bad enough, there's also a mysterious and possibly supernatural phenomenon making things even worse. In a new trailer shown during the Xbox Partner Preview event that ended a couple of hours ago, we get to see Caz exploring the destroyed platform and trying to find a way to safety. He encounters claustrophobic environments, strange voices, and a terrifying creature chasing him.

Still Wakes the Deep will be released in early 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X. It is also included with Game Pass starting day one.
