German game developer Andreas Hauber has spent an impressive 42 hours in-a-row wearing a HTC Vive Pro headset and exploring in the virtual world of Skyrim VR. This is, when it is finally officially confirmed, a new Guinness world record.

The previous record was held by YouTuber Jack McNee, who spent 36 hours, two minutes and 16 seconds in the virtual drawing program Tilt Brush. In 2016 another German, named Thorsten Wiedemann, managed to play 48 hours in a row using his VR headset, but his experiment was not documented according to Guinness rules, so no record for him.

We thought that Skyrim VR was an excellent adaptation for VR headsets, and you can read our review here.
