South Korean esports organisation, Gen.G Esports, has decided to release its entire PUBG: Battlegrounds roster and team. Following a few years of disappointing results, the organisation has cut ties with its current slate of players and coaches, begging the question as to what's next for Gen.G's position in the competitive PUBG world.

This decision means that Cha "Pio" Seung-hoon, Hwang "DG98" Dae-kwon, Kang "taemin" Tae-min, Seong "Seongjang" Jang-hwan, and coach Go "Esther" Jeong-wan are all out of a team, and able to explore other opportunities elsewhere.

Gen.G released a statement about this roster change, stating, "We sincerely appreciate the players for their unwavering passion and dedicated efforts."

There is no word on whether the team is exploring signing a new team.
