Gears Pro Circuit returns for Season 2

Featuring an estimated $2,000,000 USD prize pool.

Season 2 of the Geas Pro Circuit for Gears of War 4 has been officially revealed, with the cash prizes starting at $1,000,000 USD and expected to reach $2,000,000 with crowdfunding via Esports Supporter Packs.

As with the frist season, Gears Pro Points need to be earned by competing in regional MLG online ladders as well as weekly tournaments, not to mention through approved tournaments and LAN events as well. These points then qualify teams for international open LAN events taking place bi-monthly between December 2017 and December 2018.

Also announced are funding increases for travel coverage for the Pro Circuit, as well as the return of aforementioned Gears Esports Supporter Packs, helping provide funding for the events. This will include cosmetic items based on organisations, who can also qualify for financial incentives based on audience size, participation, and more.

Weekly Gears Fight Nights broadcasts are also returning, coming from MLG's New York studios, featuring weekly Pro Circuit online action, including prizes for viewers.

Season 2 has actually started already in terms of Pro Point accumulation, and for more details on the upcoming events head this way. Could this be the biggest year for Gears esports?
