In Borderlands 3 we can expect four classes of heroes to choose from, and earlier this week we reported on Zane in the operative class, who got his own trailer and character profile from Gearbox, explaining his abilities and how he plays.
Moze is a character we played as back at E3, as you can see in the gameplay video below, but now she's got her very own trailer showing how the gunner class works, not to mention a brand new deep dive showcasing her abilities and specialties, courtesy of the various skill trees at her disposal.
Moze has a giant mech called Iron Bear for use in combat, as you can see in the appropriately-titled BFFs video below, and one of the skill trees is called Shield of Retribution, which is rather defensive. You can sacrifice some health to give you and your allies incendiary damage, for example, as well as buffing shield capabilities by improving recharge rate and other parameters, but you can still deliver some damage with Action Skills like the Bear Fist and Railgun, for short-range and long-range respectively.
The Demolition Woman skill tree, on the other hand, features the V-35 Grenade Launcher as an Action Skill, but there are other skills including Auto Bear, letting Iron Bear fight independently for a short while, and Short Fuse, giving a chance for secondary explosions via gun damage.
Then we have the Bottomless Mags skill tree, including the Minigun Action Skill and the Salamander Action Skill, with the latter being a flamethrower to give Iron Bear a different taste of destruction. Other skills include Matched Set - giving Moze's equipped weapon a stacking bonus to magazine size and decreasing heat per shot for every piece of gear with a matching manufacturer - and Forge, where Moze constantly regenerates ammo for her current weapon.
Will you choose Moze?
