Gearbox announces Battleborn

Original "hero shooter" for new-gen consoles that looks towards the MOBA genre for inspiration.

Borderlands creators Gearbox Software have revealed their first title on the new generation of consoles. Battleborn is referred to as a hero shooter, and clearly takes a lot of inspiration from the MOBA genre. It is, however, not a pure MOBA title, and appears to mainly focus on taking out hordes of lesser monsters with your team mates.

Battleborn promises a fully fledged co-op campaign as well as intense multiplayer battles. 2K Games is once again the publisher and you can check out the first trailer below.
