Ganondorf actor for The Legend of Zelda movie revealed: He played Dwayne Johnson in "Young Rock"
Uli Latukefu reported as the actor for Ganondorf in the Zelda movie released by Sony.
News about The Legend of Zelda movie has been very sparse, despite the movie releasing in less than a year, on April 30, 2027. Only two stars have been confirmed, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link and Bo Bragason as Princess Zelda, but according to NY Times reporter Kyle Buchanan, Ganondorf will appear, and will be played by Australian actor Uli Latukefu.
Latukefu, actor and singer of Tongan descent, an island in Polynesia, is better known for playing a young version of Dwayne Johnson in the TV series Young Rock, so he has the physicality to play such an iconic and imposing villain.
Latekufu, 42 year old, has also acted in Alien: Covenant, Black Adam, MaXXXine and the series Countdown, but playing Ganondorf in The Legend of Zelda will be his biggest role by far. Bear in mind this has not been confirmed or announced by Nintendo, but it appears to be true.
Dichen Lachman is also rumoured to play Impa (she was seen in on-set photographs, but has not been confirmed as well). With the movie releasing next spring, Nintendo and Sony should start giving new information soon...
