GameStop, the US' leading games retailer, is looking to branch out into some more physical media, that being graded trading cards. Buying and selling graded cards has become a huge phenomenon, with collectors paying huge sums of money for premium cards.

According to a report from PokéBeach, GameStop is primarily looking at the Pokémon Trading Card Game, as it seems to be the most popular game when it comes to buying and selling graded cards. If you live in the US, you'll be able to trade in a graded card for cash or store credit, but we'd hope people would get better value than they would on game trade-ins.

There are also plans for GameStop to host more Pokémon TCG events in the future, potentially testing out how a Pokémon League could work within the wider business.
