Monaco: What's Yours is Mine

Monaco makes it into three categories this year, and it's the multiplayer that perhaps defines the game, and makes it one of the standout titles of the last twelve months. Online it can be a bit hit and miss, as it all depends who you meet up with; get a player who compliments your playing style and you've struck gold, but there's every chance you might run into someone who has no interest in playing the team game. When this happens it takes the gloss off the experience. However, when you find a kindred spirit, or even better, sit down to play the game locally, you're in for some of the finest multiplayer ever created. It's thrilling stuff, with crews of up to four players taking down scores and avoiding patrols. There's tons of content, and some of the later levels are rock solid, but don't let that put you off. It's a fantastic challenge.
