Publisher Gambitious Digital Entertainment and developer Arachnid Games have announced that they've partnered for the release of the upcoming submarine adventure Diluvion that's set to launch this fall on PC and Mac (via Steam).
Inspired by the work of Jules Verne will let you command a total of 9 different submarines and managing the crew is central to the gameplay that is described as follows in the press release:
"After a great flood devastates the world and its civilization, humanity's last remnants are left to struggle against each other for limited resources and survival beneath an impenetrable layer of permanent ice. As submersible captains, players must explore the uncharted reaches of the open sea, brimming with distinct harbors, factions, mercenaries and secrets. Salvage treasure and supplies from wherever possible, trade goods and bounties, battle enemy vessels in real-time 3D action and take on gargantuan creatures from the darkest depths of this beautifully realized aquatic realm."
We last saw Diluvion back at E3 2015 when we had this conversation with Arachnid Games' Leo Dasso:
