Future The Witcher 3 patch will make font size bigger
CD Projekt Red working on a fix for those tiny subtitles.
With The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt currently running on lots of consoles and computers, users have started complaining about a couple of things. Despite the game being amazing, gamers are pointing out several areas that could be improved, such as, for example, the tiny font size of on-screen texts.
Due to the PC roots of the project, The Witcher 3's interface wastes a lot of screen size and renders some really small text characters, making it really difficult to read when you're playing from the couch and not in front of the much closer computer monitor. And this affects not only prompts and info, but subtitles as well, something actually important when the voice acting is in English, French, German and Polish only.
Now Marcin Mormot, from studio CD Projekt Red, has confirmed via Twitter that they're currently working on the issue, and that it could possibly be fixed with the next, still undated patch.
The Witcher 3 just got 1.03 update for PC, improving stability and performance amongst other things - with 600+ fixes. The patch is also coming to consoles, apparently improving graphics and other stuff. Though, for now, bigger letters will have to wait.
