Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

From Software provides gameplay overview trailer for Sekiro

The game is mere days away, and if you want to prepare yourself for From Software's brand of hardcore action, this video might be the ticket.

From Software is known mostly for the Dark Souls series and Bloodborne, two franchises that are known for punishing the player and offering a meaty challenge, which should also be prevalent in their newest game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice when it launches this Friday, March 22, on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

The developer wants players to be as prepared as possible though, which is why they've released a brand new gameplay overview trailer to fill you in on all the basics, from the setting to the prosthetic arm and the role it plays in battle. Of course there's a deep look at the combat as well, although sometimes you might need to stand back and perhaps eavesdrop to gain an advantage. Even death isn't the end either, as you can resurrect at times too.

Essentially, this is sort of an 'all you need to know' video before release, so if you've been keeping up and just need a refresher, or indeed know nothing about Sekiro at all, this is worth a watch down below.

Will you be getting this on release?

REVIEW. Written by Stefan Briesenick

"The sheer presence and power of these warriors make Sekiro's sense of play feel unique even within the confines of FromSoftware's past works."
