Back in January, Gun Media said that one of the reasons why they hadn't given a release date to Friday the 13th: The Game yet was due to the lengthy process of console certification. The good news was that this also meant it wouldn't be too long between the launch date announcement and the launch itself, and they weren't kidding.

The new trailer reveals that the game will launch on May 26, and in the same trailer we also get to see how we can customise both Jason and his potential victims, as well as some of the different abilities each side has.

Do you think this game will be as resilient as Jason, or will the fun be short-lived?

I kinda hope Jason won't be the only available murderer, maybe DLC-skins could be released so he could be Freddy Krueger, Leatherface, Michael Myers, Pinhead, or someone like that

As far as I understand it there will be multiple different versions of Jason available based on his various movie renditions. So while it's all Jason, the gameplay will be different.
