Frictional considers Amnesia Collection for Switch

While many developers are releasing their games on Nintendo Switch to great effect, one particular genre has mostly steered clear of the platform - the horror genre. However this might be changing in the future, because the developers behind some of the most influential horror games of the modern era may be looking to bring these games to Nintendo's hybrid console.

We're of course talking about Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, which were released as the Amnesia Collection on PS4 last year. These games are currently being considered for Switch by their developer/publisher, Frictional Games (A Machine for Pigs was developed by The Chinese Room).

One fan inquired about a possible Switch version via Twitter, and got an interesting answer:

"We have had some queries about this, and we are interested in doing a Switch port! Can't make any solid promises right now, but we'll be sure to keep everyone on Twitter updated with further developments."
