This past weekend, eight of the top Gwent players in Gwent Masters faced off in Moszna Castle in Poland for the Gwent Challenger #2 competition, but it was Frederick 'Freddybabes' Bird who walked away with the trophy, as well as the winner's ring and a spot in the 2019 Gwent World Masters.
The castle was transformed into a Nilfgaardian stronghold in order to host the $100,000 USD tournament, and Freddybabes got to the final after beating J0rah 3-1 and Lifecoach 3-0. This then set up a grand final match with Wildcard player Kolemoen, but Freddybabes continued his momentum to win this match 3-0 as well.
As tournament winner, Freddybabes takes home $68,750 USD, while Kolemoen walks away with $14,000. Can Freddybabes be one of the best players in the world?
