Ever since Riot Games announced the partnered esports organisations for the 2023 Valorant Champions Tour, we've seen those who missed out releasing their rosters and players, so that the individuals can compete and aim to land a spot on one of those partnered teams.
The latest to release its roster is FunPlus Phoenix, who has dropped Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks, Dmitry "SUYGETSU" Ilyushin, Pontus "Zyppan" Eek, Andrey "Shao" Kiprsky, Kyrylo "ANGE1" Karasov, and coach Erik "d00mbr0s" Sandgren.
This announcement comes over Twitter, where FunPlus states, "After years of thrilling and splendid adventure, today we bid farewell to our glorious Valorant squad.
"ANGE1, ardiis, Shao, suygetsu, Zyppan and d00mbr0s, thank you for everything you've brought to FPX.
"We wish all of you the best of luck in your future endeavors".
It's unclear as to what FPX aims to do next, and as for its former players, no doubt some of them at least will land spots on partnered teams.
