Forza Motorsport 5 announced

Turn 10 Studios' Forza is one of the most acclaimed racing simulation series around. The trailer shown at Microsoft's Xbox One reveal show in Redmond, Washington, featured the type of fast, frenetic racing the series has made us accustomed to. Race fans everywhere definitely have something to look forward to.

What really stood out were the graphics. The vehicles were rendered with exquisite detail as they tore past each other down a narrow raceway. Dynamic weather and lighting effects feature prominently and the level design shows genuine craftsmanship.

Turn 10 will be keen to make Forza 5 as immersive as possible. Forza 4 featured compatibility with the Kinect motion control camera. The Xbox One is all about connectivity, so don't be surprised if they go a step further in Forza 5.

Microsoft will be hoping Forza 5 dazzles with its good looks, exhilarating speed and competitive gameplay. We hope it does too.
