Epic Games has announced that the last weekend of the Summer Skirmish esports competition for Fortnite will be held at PAX West from August 31 to September 3, where a live competition will take place that's open to all attendees.
Registration for the event, which has a prize pool of $1.5 million USD by the way, will be held on site every day at 08:00 local time at PAX Lot 73 on 8th and Pine, with the first three days starting with three rounds of qualifiers. Each night final qualifiers will then take place, and the top 33 winners of each evening qualifier will fight for Victory Royale in the final matches on September 3, with all of Monday's matches being streamed on official Fortnite channels at 11:00 local time (19:00 BST) and ending at 15:00 local time (23:00 BST).
What's more is that there'll be a lot of Fortnite activities at PAX West aside from esports, including a Lazy Links mini golf course at the Yakima conference center, where you can get an exclusive set of Pinny Arcade pins.
