Fortnite World Cup winner Kyle Giersdorf swatted during stream

16-year-old Fortnite World Cup champion Kyle 'Bugha' Giersdorf was swatted during a recent Fortnite stream.

The winner of the Fortnite World Cup, Kyle 'Bugha' Giersdorf won $3 million when he became the champion and now, not long after, the 16-year-old was "swatted" during a stream. For those of you not familiar with the term, swatting is when a viewer of a stream calls the police, leading armed officers to the residency of the streamer.

Giersdorf can in this clip be seen leaving the Fortnite match he was playing to his teammates' dismay and can be heard talking to his dad saying "I've been swatted?" before leaving the room. Afterwards, he comes back to the stream letting his teammates know what happened, saying "That was definitely a new one. Yeah, I got swatted" before telling his stream that he was lucky as one of the officers recognised him.
