After partnering with ReKTGlobal as we reported last year, State Farm has been steadily building their esports brand. Their most recent acquisition includes Benjamin 'DrLupo' Lupo as the captain of their Fortnite team, making him the eighth player on their Fortnite roster.

The terms of the sponsorship include support of his livestream though branded replays, live in-stream stunts, product integrations, event-based remote streams, sponsored giveaways, and social content.

This sponsorship makes sense due to the success DrLupo has garnered and the work he's done for charity. Ed Gold, marketing director for State Farm, said: "DrLupo is one of the world's most followed Fortnite streamers. His philanthropic efforts and massive fanbase make him an ideal partner as we continue to amplify our esports programming and efforts with the gaming community."

As for DrLupo, he's made the following statement on his sponsorship: "Being given the opportunity to work with State Farm is, without a doubt, huge. I couldn't imagine a better company to work with, and I'm excited to see what we can do together in the future."

Who do you think State Farm will sponsor next?
