Twitch has revealed some more details on the TwitchCon event coming to the San Jose McEnery Convention Center from October 26 to 28, and Fortnite is making a big appearance both in terms of the event itself and its esports offerings.

"TwitchCon 2018 attendees are in for a great time. It will be a true reflection of the community's passions, from gaming and cosplay to charity events, inspiring panels and talks, meet-&-greets, and a show floor full of exciting, interactive experiences and activations," said Kate Jhaveri, CMO of Twitch. "Gaming has become part of mainstream pop culture and we see that reflected in the number of marquee and non-gaming brands participating this year."

In terms of esports, there's the Broadcaster Royale: Omen Challenge, where the biggest PUBG streamers will battle it out for $350,000 USD among a number of OMEN by HP challenges. This will happen in the City National Civic Theater at 13:30 PT (21:30 BST) on October 26 and more details can be found here.

Speaking of Battle Royale, you also have the Doritos Bowl we've reported on before, seeing celebrities battle it out in Call of Duty 4's Blackout mode. Then there's Games Done Quick, making its TwitchCon debut with GDQ Express, a 50-hour speedrunning marathon for charity (more details here).

And last but not least we have the Fortnite content. We already knew the Fall Skirmish would wrap up at Twitch, but now we know specifics, as the grand final will happen over all three days with both an open and invitational tournament to decide the champions. Fans are able to watch via Fortnite's Twitch channel, but that's not all, as there's an entire hall at the event dedicated to Fortnite, featuring events to get involved in.

Which competition will you be watching?
