Epic Games has revealed that the first season of Fortnite Chapter 3's Champion Series will kick off on February 18, and will feature a total prize pool of just over $3 million. Revealed in a blog post, we're told that the season will consist of two qualifiers, on February 18 (due to a pushed starting date) and February 19-20, which will then be followed by semi-finals on February 24-27, and finals on March 5-6.
We're told, as has been the case in the past, the Europe region will take the lion's share of the prize pool, with $1.362 million assigned to the region, with the rest being split up between North America East, Brazil, North America West, Asia, Middle-East, and Oceania, in descending order of assigned prize pool size.
While you can read the rules of the tournament in the accompanying blog post here, Epic has shared a bracket template that gives an outline of what the tournament will look like. You can check it out below.
