Former Telltale writer gets new game financed on Kickstarter

Former Telltale employee Mark Darin has founded his own studio called Pinhead Games, and has already had his first project financed on Kickstarter. Darin worked on games like Tales of Monkey Island, Puzzle Agent, Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, and The Walking Dead, among others, either as a Lead Writer, Lead Designer, or both.

Darin and Pinhead Games are now working on Nick Bounty and the Dame with the Blue Chewed Shoe, a "comedy adventure game" inspired by Noir films. The studio asked for $10,000 USD as a main goal, and with 15 days to go they now have over $11,000 at the time of writing.

This will be the third game featuring Nick Bounty, as two other games were released in the 2000s via flash. You can even download both games for free, here and here, even if Pinhead Games points out these do not represent their ambitions for the third game.

Nick Bounty and the Dame with the Blue Chewed Shoe is being developed got PC, but development for other platforms is not being discounted. Does the game look good to you?
