Swedish Counter-Strike player Mikail "Maikelele" Bill has been mostly quiet since he left FaZe Clan back in April. But he now says he's planning a comeback and wants to build his own team once again.
In a statement on Twitter, Maikelele writes: "I feel like my passion is to create something on my own. I wanted for a long time to go back to play with Swedes and that's what I'm going to do now".
Maikelele also says that he'll go back to playing the AWPer position on his new team, after mainly playing as a rifler with FaZe Clan.
Maikele rose to prominence when he joined Ninjas in Pyjamas in 2014, replacing Fifflaren who had opted to retire from professional Counter-Strike. He played with them for four months, and after a short stint with LGB eSports he founded his own team of mixed nationalities. Known initially as Team Kinguin, the squad was later picked up by G2 Esports and stayed with that organisation for four months before being sold to FaZe Clan, their current organisation. After a string of disappointing results, particularly an early exit at the MLG Columbus Major, Maikelele stepped down from the team.
