For the first time in the history of the franchise, armchair football managers will be able to download additional content for Football Manager.
Players will now be able to access new challenges for Football Manager Handheld 12, adding longevity to an already comprehensive package. "Austerity Measures" and "You Can't Win Anything With Kids" are two new challenges that will take their place next to older gameplay additions such as "Injury Crisis" and "Unrest at Home".
"Since the introduction of the Challenge Mode, we've had a lot of positive feedback from players, many of whom asked for more of the same." says Miles Jacobson, Studio Director of Sports Interactive. "The introduction of these extra Challenges allows us not only to address this demand but also to gauge our customers' appetite for extra, optional content of this type."
The new challenges are retailing for 0.69p each, and the handheld version of the game is currently priced at £2.99 (although the price will go back to £6.99 on July 23). To access the new content, simply install the recently released update and visit the "Store" on the game's home screen.
