Fnatic has announced that it is effectively releasing most of its Apex Legends roster. The team has stated that while the players will remain under contract for the time being, three members are being allowed to explore new opportunities ahead of Year 4 of the Apex Legends Global Series.

As for who is being released from Fnatic, the three members are; Takamasa "Meltstera" Kawai, Yuto "UmichanLoveti" Narita, and coach Hiroki "Kamaneko" Kimoto. The only member of the team who is remaining will be Yuga "YukaF" Horie.

Speaking about this decision, Fnatic stated: "All three have been a crucial part of our core roster this season, and none of this year's achievements would have been possible without their relentless effort.

"From high-pressure situations to unforgettable victories, we're extremely grateful for each members contributions to Fnatic Apex, and wish them all the best going forward."

Fnatic will be fielding a different team for Year 4 of the ALGS, but as for who star on this team, that remains unclear.
