The DreamHack Masters Malmö 2019 competition for CS:GO took place this past weekend, and it was Fnatic who lifted the trophy in Sweden during an event with a lot of top talent on show.

Fnatic were in Group A of the competition, and suffered a defeat early on to Ence, heading down to the lower bracket where they were forced to beat Tyloo 2-1, G2 Esports 2-0, and Furia Esports 2-0 as well.

Then came the playoffs, where they took on Ninjas in Pyjamas, beating them 2-1 to set up a match with Astralis. Overpass went 16-9 to Fnatic, but the last map - Nuke - saw both teams pushed to overtime, eventually ending 25-23 to Fnatic as well.

This set up a grand final with French side Team Vitality, who has had a few roster tweaks in the past few weeks. Dust II was a close 16-14 win Vitality, but Fnatic came back to make it 2-1 and lift the trophy.
